How Class Schedule Changes are Reported

Posted: 4:59 PM 2/16/2026
Once a change has passed its effective date, it is removed from the 'Recent News' sidebar and the 'All The News' page. For example, if the date a class meets is changed to March 3, the announcement of that change is removed on March 4 (or shortly thereafter). If you want to review all the changes made during the semester, go here.

Registration Information

How to Register - Spring Semester Courses

A membership fee of $35.00 per semester is required to take courses. Each course requires an additional fee ranging from $5.00 to $25.00 depending on the type of course (general interest or technology) and the number of class meetings.

Registration for this semester opens 9:00 AM, January 6, 2026.

Classes for this semester begin January 12, 2026.

We no longer take registrations over the phone or by mail.
Please use one of the methods below.

In Person

  • At Open House (see time and location below). Knowledgeable staff will be there to answer any questions about the courses and take your registration. The benefit of registering at Open House is that you may immediately receive your CLL membership card and campus parking pass.
  • At the USCA Office of External Programs in Room 104 of the Business and Education (B&E) Building beginning the day after Open House. It is best to call 803-641-3741 before you come to confirm that someone will be available to help you.
  • Note that in-person registrations may be paid for by cash, check, or credit card.

Online

Open House & Registration

January 6, 2026, 9:00 AM until 12:00 PM in Room 122 of the B&E Building.

Registration Notes

  • For questions about registration, call the USCA Office of External Programs, 803-641-3741.
  • Pre-registration is required for all classes. Registration closes for Technology courses at the end of the day on the Monday of the week before the class's first meeting and for other courses on the day before the first meeting.
  • While the registration form in the printed catalog or downloaded from here can no longer be mailed in to register, it makes a good notepad for those courses you would like to register for. Bring it filled out to Open House or Room 104 to streamline your registration.
  • Registration is first-come, first served and continues throughout the semester. Register early as some classes have limited class size or require time to prepare the appropriate number of class materials.
  • Please pay for your course with cash (for in person registration only), a check (for in-person registration only), or a credit card. Full payment and a completed registration form must be received by USCA before your registration is complete. You will be sent a confirmation email after your registration is processed.
  • All courses and schedules are subject to change. Changes will be announced on the All The News page.
  • Because of limited space, you must attend only the sections of the class for which you register.
